Dr Angela Hawkins (BBiomedSci, MBBS, FRACGP) graduated from Medicine at Deakin in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. She loves travel health (when travel was possible) and women’s health, especially contraception and pregnancy planning. She can perform Implanon insertion, minor surgical procedures and is a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate.
When not working as a GP, she teaches medical students at the University of Melbourne, and spends time with her son who is learning to shriek like a pterodactyl, and her husband who has already perfected this. Partly because of how noisy the house is, she loves coffee, baking and is a (very) amateur gardener.
