MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration model introduced by the Australian government. It aims to formalise the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner and primary care teams.

MyMedicare – what do I do?
MyMedicare involves letting Medicare know which medical clinic you regard as your main healthcare provider. Among many benefits of registering under MyMedicare and choosing Moreland West Medical Centre, you will have access to longer telehealth consultations with your GP, better flow of information to your trusted practice from other healthcare providers, and greater continuity of care aiming to improve health outcomes.
Information on ‘How to Register’ can be found at the Government’s website on this patient information page.
